A small addition

Artist Hilary Batzel added a small addition to the journal that mimics her abstract style.

Hilary is an artist currently living in Peekskill NY. Her focus is printmaking but she is trained in a variety of mediums. She graduated in 2001 from SUNY Fredonia and is an active member of the College Arts Association. Here is Hillary at the Women's Studio Workshop.

Just the beginning...

A short introduction- My name is Jaimianne and I am one of the lucky people beginning one of our traveling journals with the YoungWC! I am a young ceramic artist currently living in NY.

Now more importantly the journal- The the theme of this journal is very free but encompassed under "The Fine Art of Craft". This theme was inspired by the book chosen to serve as the journal which is about old finnish craft. I look forward to the end result of this beautiful collaboration.
